Su tesis doctoral está basada en el desarrollo de métodos evolutivos cooperativos-competitivos para el diseño de Redes Neuronales de Base Radial. Entre sus áreas de interés se incluyen Redes Neuronales, Algoritmos Evolutivos, Ensembles, Clasificación en bases de datos balanceadas y no balanceadas, Predicción de series Temporales.
