In the UJAmI SmartLab some demos are developed and applied to multiple contexts that have an important impact, such as security, industry, agriculture, marketing, etc., paing special attention to the daily home activities in order to create better life conditions for elderly adults in their own homes.

Some demos developed in the UJAmI SmartLab are the following:

Subscription to events in a smart environment

A mobile application in Android receives notifications of iterations that take place in a smart home.

  • Multiple sensors are deployed in the everyday objects of the home: doors, drawers, appliances.
  • A web application is developed to receive the events produced by the sensors
  • A mobile application in Android receives notifications from the web server regarding the iterations in the associated home.
